When he’s having a tough time emotionally:
“My tummy is all moody.”When asked why he didn’t tell on a kid who punched him during recess in school:
“I don’t like to waste my free time by tattling.”

Trying to explain what it’s like when we don’t have faith in God’s promises:
“Dad? Can we go to the park?”
“Sure, honey – we’ll go today.”
“No… I don’t think we are going to go to the park. I know we’re not going. You say we are, but I know that we are not.”“Dad? Why are you putting your shoes on?”
“I’m getting ready to take you to the park.”
“No. I know we’re not going to the park today. I wish we could go, but I know that we won’t.”“Dad? Where are we walking to?”
“The park. We’re going to the park. You said that you wanted to go to the park, so like a good Daddy, I’m taking you.”
“No. I know we’re not going there today. You say we are going, but I know we’re not. We’ll never go to the park. Can we please go to the park, Dad??”(sigh)

I am very close to Perfect. Jesus is Perfect, and I’m very close to Him!
When you are exposed to the sun for a long period of time, the proof is the resulting sunburn.
When you are exposed to the Son for a long period of time, the proof is the resulting Son-burn (the glow that comes from His working in you because you have openly exposed your soul to His work and have submitted your everything to Him). -Kat Connolly and Melissa Moss
